Do Entrepreneurs & Small Business Clients pay a Fee?
Yes. Entrepreneurs and Small Business Clients buy a 'pay-as-you-go' plan or annual subscription (payable in monthly instalments or in a lump sum). which entitles you to purchase mentoring and consulting services at affordable consulting rates. The fees help cover the costs of providing the program.
Are Subscriptions a Business Expense?
Yes. Clients can use the expense for advertising and promotion, marketing, memberships or professional fees. In Canada, subscribers who are HST registrants can claim back HST. Contact your accountant or tax professional for advice.
Who are the Mentors / Consultants?
Mentor-Consultants are seasoned professionals who may be employed full or part-time or retired or even operating their own business. They have business skills and expertise which have been developed and refined over their careers. They want to 'give back / pay it forward' to interesting, enthusiastic and motivated entrepreneurs and small business. They are primarily in Canada and USA.
What is the difference between a Mentor and a Consultant?
Mentors typically guide, advise and support entrepreneurs. They often act as a sounding board, a trusted confidante to support you in your business. Consultants typically do the work that needs to be done, as a project with a start- and end-date.
How are Mentoring and Consulting Services Delivered?
This is up to the Mentor-Consultant. Services are delivered in-person, by phone / Skype and Internet.
